If you’re a lover of the south and the sun; if you like summer breezes tangling your hair while the scent of pine resin intoxicates you; if you enjoy crystal-clear seas, smooth pebbled beaches and radiant sunsets, little coastal villages, and airy, inviting summer interiors – then we have the perfect villa for you.
Villa Features
This project by a family from Hvar was conceived as two separate seaside villas, divided by a stone wall and each with its own entrance, pool, and terrace. In 2025 the owners completed both buildings and fully finished Villa Thoosa, which we’d now like to introduce.
The interior of Villa Thoosa spans 192 m², while the exterior totals 200 m², including the pool deck, upper terrace, and a small balcony on the top floor.
Entering from the rear, you step straight into the dining room, dominated by a large wooden table with seating for eight. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall lets you enjoy views of the pool, the pine forest, and the sea. The dining area has air-conditioning and a Samsung soundbar, so you can fill the entire villa with music of your choice. Just beyond is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with a sizable island and a hidden door to the pantry, which holds the washing machine and other household essentials. A small restroom is also located on the ground floor.
Up on the first floor you’ll find a generous, welcoming living room with a comfortable corner sofa-bed – ideal for two children if needed – a smart TV, a selection of books, and a sea view. The living room opens onto a broad outdoor terrace furnished for lounging.
Also on the first floor is a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower) and a 180 × 200 cm bed. The room features a smart TV, bedside tables, and a semi-open wardrobe. All furniture and linens are in light tones, as the owners aimed to create a pleasant, relaxing, breezy summer ambiance. Let us know what you think – did they succeed?
The second floor hosts two more bedrooms, one with a small flower-filled balcony and outdoor seating. This balcony is the house’s highest point and offers a splendid view of the open sea. Both bedrooms have 160 × 200 cm beds and en-suite bathrooms with shower trays. Each is fully outfitted with bedside tables, lamps, wardrobes, and a smart TV. A hallway between the rooms includes a charming nook for relaxing and reading.
Every room is air-conditioned, and each is adorned with large modern abstract paintings inspired by the island and its flora – works by young local artist Dominik Duboković, of whom the owners are especially proud.
Villa Thoosa is ringed by green spaces thick with Mediterranean foliage, so your stay will be perfumed with rosemary, lavender, immortelle, and lemon while your eyes feast on oleanders, olive trees, and kumquats. Alongside the house is a gravel area perfect for children’s play.
Out front, a 24 m² pool with massage jets takes center stage – though you may scarcely need it, given that the crystal-clear sea and its pebbled beach are only steps away. Beside the pool are an outdoor shower and a sun deck with three loungers and parasols. The pool terrace is virtually continuous with the kitchen and dining room: a few strides through the glass wall bring you from the kitchen to the outdoor dining table for eight, and a nearby stone barbecue invites you to savor grilled delicacies. We recommend hiring our chef to impress you even further – nobody dazzles like our chefs.
